  2. Allow media access when Android requests it.
  3. Open the Music or Video module.
  4. Reopen the module if the library is initially empty.
If access was previously denied, open Android Settings → Apps → Perun Player → Permissions.

Media3 is Perun's main engine with the custom PCM16 path.

AMP uses Android MediaPlayer as a compatibility mode.

HiFi mode

  2. Expand the HiFi section.
  3. Enable the HiFi switch.
HiFi does not boost the sound.
Equaliser

  2. Enable the equaliser.
  3. Select a preset or adjust the bands manually.
  4. Test the setting with several different tracks.
Large boosts across several bands can cause clipping.
Bass

Bass enhances low frequencies inside the Media3 PCM path.

  1. Enable Media3.
  2. Expand the Bass section.
  3. Increase the value gradually during playback.
High bass levels can distort heavily mastered tracks.

Stereo widening increases perceived soundstage width.

Increase the effect gradually to preserve the centre of the mix.

Choose a space type and adjust the intensity.

  • Small room: short, subtle ambience.
  • Medium room: clearer space without a long tail.
  • Large room: wider and deeper ambience.
  • Hall: longer and more spacious reverb.

  • Reopen the library module.
