Privacy Policy — Happy Kids World
Updated: 1 October 2026.
1. App and publisher
Happy Kids World (Wesoły Świat Dzieci) is published by MIERZWAstudio. Privacy enquiries may be submitted through the MIERZWAstudio contact page.
2. Purpose of the app
The app is intended for children using it under the supervision of a parent or guardian. It provides selected YouTube content, simple games, and parental-control features. The app does not require a user account.
3. Information stored locally
The device stores parental settings, language and age profile, viewing-time limits, collection order and visibility, blocklists, and local watch history. Watch history may include a video identifier, title, channel, start time, and playback progress. History covers the last 7 days and can be cleared by a parent in the app settings.
This information is used for app functionality and is not transmitted by the app to MIERZWAstudio as the user's watch history.
4. Information the app does not require
The app does not require a child's name, email address, or phone number and does not request access to location, contacts, camera, or microphone. The app does not provide its own user-account system.
5. YouTube API Services and the YouTube player
The app uses YouTube API Services and the embedded YouTube player. Before playback, the app verifies that a video is available, embeddable, and marked as “made for kids”.
When communicating with Google and YouTube services, technical information necessary to provide those services may be processed, including the IP address and technical information about the device, WebView, and player. The embedded player uses youtube-nocookie.com, but this does not eliminate all processing by Google or YouTube.
For more information, see the Google Privacy Policy and the YouTube Terms of Service.
6. Advertising in the YouTube player
The app does not include its own advertising module or advertising SDK. The embedded YouTube player may nevertheless display advertising supplied by YouTube. The app does not select advertisers or individual ads. Videos allowed for playback must be marked “made for kids”; YouTube applies its own advertising rules to such content.
7. Online catalogue and mierzwa.us
The app downloads its catalogue of available content from mierzwa.us. When a connection is made, the server or hosting provider may process ordinary technical connection information such as IP address, request time, and information needed for security and operation of the server. The catalogue does not receive the local watch history stored by the app.
8. Parent or guardian consent
Before features using YouTube API Services are made available, a parent or guardian is asked to review and accept this privacy policy. Acceptance is stored locally on the device.
9. Deleting local data
A parent can clear watch history in the app settings. Clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app removes information stored locally by the app.
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the app, legal requirements, or third-party services change. The current version is published on this page.
